PTV's Lost Actors !!!

Assalamo Alaikum ..

If you remember , there was a time when the only entertainment channels for the people in Pakistan were PTV and STN .. the dramas of that time are still a part of our sweet memories ..
A few days ago, while searching different channels I stopped on Tanhaiyan .. PTV home is telecasting it on Thursdays( I guess) and the main inspiration for this blog is Amir Hatmi (Saad Salman) who, after being a part of such a super hit drama, is lost somewhere and not only him, there a few more actors who are no more a part of the entertainment industry !

Remember Sona Chandi? One of the sweetest JODI's I've ever seen (What do U think?) and I think both of them vanished after this play ..

OK .. the next in the list is Abgeenay of Chandni Raatein .. Her real name is Faryal Gauhar .. a very decent actress !

 Well, the next is one of my favorites Zaib -un -Nisa .. The lead role was played by Nida Kazmi. She is the daughter famous Pakistani star, Rahat Kazmi .. Zaib -un- Nisa(drama) was actually directed by her own mother Saira Kazmi . Since she got married, she has completely moved away from the media !

One more twinkling star from Tanhaiyan .. the lead actress of this drama called Zara (real name Shahnaz Shaikh)  also worked in Ankahi and according to my knowledge, she only worked in these two serials and then became the host of a musical show .. Undoubtedly, she is a truly gifted artist !

During the late 1990s, the army drama serial 'Alpha Bravo Charlie' was aired. Under Shoaib Mansoor's direction, the drama introduced a number of new actors who remain unforgettable to people even to this day.

The female lead of the drama serial was played by a young girl who had previously not been seen in any other drama. As the viewers got to learn later, the girl had the same real name as her character in the play i.e. Shahnaz. Her full name is Shahnaz Khan ..

And last but not the least .. Ashir Azeem .. the Azhar of Dhuwan .. a dark, tall, handsome guy with such a great talent !

I know I didn't include many of the actors who disappeared  after being a part of such successful productions but hope that you liked this lil effort of mine ..
